B2B London, one of Southwestern Ontario’s newest networking groups participated on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in the Rotary Club of London North Annual Golf Tournament. As a new organization with a commitment to the community, they not only participated but sponsored one of the holes.
“This was the most successful year yet thanks to the many wonderful sponsors and golfers,” said Arun Sen, a Rotary Volunteer and one of the members of the B2B London. Mark Ansara, B2B London President indicated that the big winners were the children in our community who benefit from the various programs including Stevenson Camp (London and area camp for under-privileged children), Dictionary Project (Dictionaries for all Grade 3 London children as part of the Literacy program), Thames Valley Children’s Centre (Emergency Need Program), Adopt-A-School and Polio Plus (eradication of polio). Approximately $20,000 was raised.
“It is this type of support that makes our events successful and allows us to continue our work in the community,” said Sen.
